Find a t-shirt you no longer use.....Get a pattern and cut it up.....Fold and iron the center for absorbency.....Sew up the pieces and gussets....
I used prefolds for Meagan, but I think these will be easier for people who aren't familiar with folding a diaper, and they're free. I'd like to make about 24 of two sizes. So if you have any spare cotton material or clothing hanging out, send it my way. If I had a good pair of scissors, I think I could make two of these an hour.
Put it all together....
And WALLA!! A baby diaper, for free....
I also made this one from a polo shirt Andrew grew out of....

I am sure I have all th fabric you will ever need. Just stop by.
Still think you are crazy, though. As many as I go through, can't imagine having to wash them, too.
I would be crazy to do it too if I was in your shoes. I'll be by tomorrow evening if you are going to be home. Kiss the babies for me.
WOW!!! You make it look soo easy, I promise you if I tried to make one it wouldn't turn out wearable, thats for sure!!! Your's turned out really cute.
I'm so glad you posted this on I Made it Myself! I saw this when you posted it earlier and thought it was so clever!
