I tried to suggest a shirt, stockings, tights etc. but to no avail. I'm in a mood where I have no fight in me so I think today is a "learn from experience" day in the area of appropriate clothing for the weather. I do think I have her convinced that a white sweater is acceptable. I guess her toes will have to suffer.

You're tight. She refused to "wear" the sweater and tied it around her shoulders like a shawl and then proceeded to play with the snow after church till her hands were frozen.
