House Pictures

Today I went over to the house to measure for carpet and took a bunch of pictures of our paint colors. They are pretty extreme but I love them. They don't show up as well on screen. The yellow isn't quite this bright, but here they are.

All in all it is an explosion of color. Nothing neutral here. There are only a few places where you can see more than one color at a time. This is the view from our room....

I told Justin we will just have to keep the doors closed. Notice the doors. It took us forever to find them.

This is our carpet. It is really dark. We learned our mistake last time when our carpet turned out sooo light....

This is our hardwood. It is quarter sawn white oak. Not to be confused with plain oak....

We also got a steal on some engineered hardwood for the Apartment last weekend. It was only 50 cents a square foot. It usually runs about $3 but they were changing colors. We put down about two thirds of it yesterday and it looks great.

Everything is turning out just the way I wanted. There isn't anything in the house that I dislike even a bit. The outside is almost done too. I forgot to take pictures of it. I'll try to get some this week.
