Amanda and Andrew studied brains today. We made neurons out of pipe cleaners representing the cell body, dendrites, axon and sheath and other parts. Also we made a brain that feels like and is the size of a real brain. To do this we mixed two cups of sand, 1.5 cups of hot water and 1.5 cups of potato flakes. It was warm squishy and gross.
